If you're on City of Sultan water, it comes mostly from Lake 16, a reservoir north of town, with backup from the City of Everett's supply. Winter and your faucets

Cold snaps in the Skykomish Valley can freeze pipes that run along outside walls, including those under some kitchen and bathroom sinks. During a hard freeze, open the cabinet doors on outside walls so warm air can reach the pipes. If a faucet stops flowing on a very cold morning, don't use an open flame to thaw it. Call instead.
